Are all rocks the same?

Our first topic of science in Year 3 relates to rocks and soil.

Below this text is our Knowledge Organiser, which includes the breakdown of lessons for this unit of work, as well as vocabulary that children will be taught. 

Can children remember the difference between sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks? Perhaps they will be able to recreate the models we will make in class to demonstrate the processes.
