Maths
Below are at-home workbooks for the Year 3 units of work we will be covering this half term, which give examples of the types of questions we explore together in lessons. These can be returned to school at the end of the half term.
This half term, we will be continuing exploring fractions. Then we will consolidate and extend children's understanding of time.
Times Tables
Since the start of Year 3, we have worked on our recall of the following times tables: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x, 10x
At this age, children should be able to recall any related multiplication or division fact in up to 5 seconds.
Therefore, it is beneficial for children to practise these times tables regularly.
To practise, children can log onto their Times Table Rockstar accounts. Their login is in their Reading Records.

Key number skills
Numbots is a fantastic online resource to help your child practise these skills and build confidence. Children have their login for Numbots in their Reading Records.

For both TTRockstars and Numbots, the same login is required. If you have any trouble logging on, or need a reminder of your child's login details, please ask.
