School seaside trip to Hunstanton

On Wednesday 7th June we had our first ever trip to the seaside. Reception through to Year 6 boarded three buses, armed with beach shoes, bucket and spades, sun hats and towels and headed to Hunstanton beach for the day. It was a day of many 'firsts' for many children- real sand in their sandwiches, sandy feet, paddling, understanding waves and tides, building sandcastles with elaborate moats, finding crabs and jellyfish. We all had such fun. A big thanks to Ely Diocese for kindly covered the cost of the trip.
