First Communion classes at St. Andrew's Church Spring 2023

In a recent Collective Worship, Revs. Karin and Jon told the children that they could learn more about Holy Communion by coming to classes at St Andrew's.

St Andrew's Church is now offering 3  First Communion classes for children in Yr 2 up who would like to learn more and potentially take communion for the first time in the service on 21st May. If you are interested in taking part, please contact Revd Karin on:

ROCKSTEADY ARE ROCKING IN 2023

Would your child like to play in their very own rock band?

Dear Parent or Guardian,

Rocksteady in-school band lessons are the perfect opportunity for your child to learn new skills, develop friendships and have the time of their life.

Watch this short video to see what learning in a band could do for your child’s well-being:

As a Church of England foundation School we have an important association with St Andrew's Church, Cherry Hinton.

St Andrew's offers activities and events for parishioners and the wider community and you can learn more about services and how the church and centre are used, including events, from their website.
Our pupils regularly visit the church for events as well as services throughout the year.

Thanks to our local Nisa

Our school is really grateful to Mr Ronak Patel the manager of our local Nisa shop. He has been a great friend to our school over the past two years. He helped us to provide school lunches to families during COVID lockdown, donated money for go-karts for reading books and for a marquee. This is an example of  'community'. Thank you Ronak.
