This half-term, we will begin with a history topic centred on the Bronze and Iron ages.

We will explore early life in the Stone Age and discuss the changes which lead through both the Bronze and Iron Ages.

Children will make a visit to Wandlebury Country Park and explore the hill fort remains which are still visible to this day.

Below is a Knowledge Organiser relating to our learning this half-term. Within it, you will find vocabulary that children will be taught, as well as a breakdown of the unit of work. We will be discussing the vocabulary during lessons - why not talk about it at home as well?

Our topic homework for this half-term is to create a replica of any artefact from the period you choose.  Perhaps a Stone Age hand axe, Bronze Age roundhouse or Iron Age jewellery.  We are excited to see what inspires you most.
