During the Summer Term, we will be looking into the ancient past and exploring the life of people living in Ancient Greece. We will discover facts about the Greek Gods and Goddesses, buildings, theatre, traditions, Olympic history and philosophy and much more! We will deepen our understanding with a visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum to look at some artefacts which are expertly preserved.
Below is a Knowledge Organiser relating to our learning this term. Within it, you will find vocabulary that children will be taught, as well as a breakdown of the unit of work. We will be discussing the vocabulary during lessons – why not talk about it at home as well?
Our topic homework for this term is to create an item which showcases your child's interest in, and understanding of the topic. Maybe a poster filled with advice, fact-file or even a 3D model, PowerPoint display or food item to share! The choice is yours!
Please ensure all topic homework is brought to school by Monday 13th July 2026, so that it can be displayed in our Homework Festival at the end of the Summer Term.
