Our topic this half term is The Americas. For their homework project, children may choose from the following options:

1.      Create a travel brochure for any country in North or South America, including key landmarks, climate, food, and cultural traditions.

2.      Build a 3D map or model of a famous geographical feature, such as the Amazon River, the Grand Canyon, or the Andes Mountains.

3.      Design “Top Trumps” country cards with categories such as population, area, highest mountain, longest river, biggest city, etc.

4.      Draw climate charts comparing the mean temperature and precipitation of different countries.

5.      Write a profile of a famous person from the Americas, including their life story, achievements, and a map of where they came from.
