Children's fluency with number is essential to their confidence and success in maths, and we are always working on it. We use Mastering Number sessions from Monday to Thursday and Funky Friday Maths to explore areas outside number fluency.

This half-term we are focusing on:

• Fluently counting to 100
• Partitioning 5
• How 5 goes into other 1-digit numbers (5 and __ more)
• Doubling numbers under 5
• Odd and Even numbers
• Composition of numbers between 6 and 10
• One more and one less
• 2D and 3D shapes
• Patterns
